Vietnamese PM To Attend ASEM 6 In Helsinki

Prime Minister of Vietnam Nguyen Tan Dzung will lead the country’s delegation to attend the sixth Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM 6) in Helsinki, Finland on September 10-11, said the Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs on September 02.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of ASEM, the Prime Minister will deliver an important speech at ASEM 6’s opening ceremony along with the host.
Heads of state and government from 13 Asian and 25 European Union countries are expected to attend the meeting in Finland, the current holder of the EU presidency.
High on the agenda would be global security threats, energy security, climate change, WTO negotiations, competitiveness, and structural changes in the global economy.
