In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Carlsberg Malaysia said its 24.6 pct-owned associate, the Sri Lankan-based Lion Brewery Ceylon Ltd, will own a 22.5 pct stake of South East Asia Breweries, which will give the Carlsberg group the 5.5 pct indirect interest.
The Indian brewery will have a sales capacity of 450,000 hector litres and will be operational in the first quarter of 2008, Carlsberg informs.
