Jotun Thailand’s MD to Egypt

After nearly five years as MD of Jotun Thailand, Limited, Per-Harald Engesaeth will be leaving Bangkok on 22 January for the new task in Cairo with his family, wife and two kids.


 In Egypt, Per-Harald Engesaeth will be a Company Manager for Jotuns operations also in Libya with a three to five years contract.


 “I am very focused and determined to do a best possible job and develop further
the already successful Jotun Egypt Company,” says Mr. Engesaeth


 Under his leadership, Jotun received three consecutive years Nationwide Best Factory Award in Safety and in 2006 also Prime Ministers Award in Safety.


“We have been through very good teamwork and skilled employees who have helped us grow our sales continuously and at the same time making good
profit,” Mr. Engesaeth proudly stated.


 “Last but not least we have a stronger and more dedicated organization today than when I came in April 2002,” Per-Harald Engesaeth added. “I am very proud of the Jotun Thailand Penguin Team. They are ready for the future!”


 Per-Harald Engesaeth’s position in Jotun Thailand will be replaced by Eric Mallace, a Scotsman from Glasgow who has been working for Jotun since 1991 in different positions in UK, Qatar, Dubai, Thailand and Malaysia. He is presently Company Manager for Jotun’s Powder Coatings operation in Czech Republic in Prague and has been living there since 2001. He will move to Bangkok with wife and two out of four kids.
