Play Golf For a Good Cause

The 1st annual Baan King Kaew golf challenge will be held at Gassan Khuntan, one of the finest golf courses up north in Chiangmai from 19 to 21 January 2007. The goal is to raise money for the orphanage foundation.
The event supported by Baan King Kaew, a private run orphanage in Chiang Mai which it aims to provide a healthy environment for orphaned or abandoned children from infancy until they are old enough to start primary school.
As for the schedule, 11 participants will fly from Singapore to visit the Orphanage in Chiangmai on 19th January and thereafter to play one round golf at Gassan Khuntan.
The Golf Challenge will start on 20th January at Gassan Khuntan and the competition will be based on Stableford with updated handicaps. After the game there will be a lunch and price giving follow by some cultural events and dinner.
“The event will combine fun and passion together” says Mr.Terje Schau who has been a sponsor for the last 6 years.
Participants in the Baan King Kaew Golf Trophy pay each 5,000 Baht which will all go to the orphanage. So far the participants for the golf challenge are from the Scandinavian companies in Asia such as Carlsberg, DNV, Q-Free, SE Band and AArhus Olie.
