Two New Faces after DABS AGM 2007

The two new members; Michael Haunstrup (Bang & Olufsen Asia Pte Ltd) and Per Bach Nielsen (Vestas Asia Pacific Wind Technology Pte Ltd), were elected into a board committee of the Danish Business Association of Singapore (DABS) for the year 2007/2008 at the Annual General Meeting on March 28.
Meanwhile, Sven Hvilborg (Aalborg Industries Pte Ltd) and Jørgen Lunding (Bang & Olufsen Asia Pte Ltd) left the Committee this year.
After AGM, Nicholas Mak, Head of Consultancy and Research from Knight Frank, presented an interesting analysis on the development of the real estate market in Singapore from 1996 up to today. As it looks the real estate market in Singapore is still not reaching its boiling point, since the supply does only seem to be barely meeting the demand in the coming years, despite many newly developed real estate projects. The past years, especially the prices in the high end market have been rising which was seen likely to be a continuous trend. It was noted that the prices generally are still not at the same height as in 1996.

The Committee this year looks as follows:

Lars Alstrup – Nordea Bank Singapore
Heine Askæer- Jensen – Jebsen & Jessen SEA Pte Ltd
John Iversen – DSV AIR & SEA pte Ltd
