May 17, the Norwegian National Day, started in Singapore at the Ambassador’s residence where approximately 300 participants had made their way.
Later in the day, the celebrations moved on to the Swiss Club where more people joined in the activities. About 500 hundred people took part in the family party which was for both adults and children. Unfortunately, a heavy rain ruined parts of the planned activities, in particular various kinds of outdoor activities
Finally, some 150 Norwegians and others continued to the Seamen’s Church for a smaller get together in the evening.
