Vietnam’s cultural exchange with Sweden and Denmark boosted

Vietnam’s Culture and Information Minister Pham Quang Nghi has strengthened cooperation and cultural exchange with Sweden and Denmark during his 10-day working visit to Europe in May.
     In Stockholm, Minister Nghi and his entourage met with Swedish Culture Minister Marita Ulvskog and representatives from the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA). They discussed a cooperation programme to hold media training courses and exchanges in cinematography, arts, music and museum work. The two sides also planned to organize Vietnam Cultural Days in Sweden this September.
     During his stop in Copenhagen, Minister Nghi met with officials from the Danish Culture Development Centre to discuss cultural cooperation between the two countries and plans for the upcoming Asian Culture Festival, scheduled to take place in Denmark this August.
