The first meeting of the mixed committee will take place in Denmark in the period 16-19 September 2007. The delegation of Vietnam is led by Mr. Cao Viet Sinh, Vice Minister of Planning & Investment
On the initiative of the Government of Vietnam a mixed bilateral committee has been established with the sole focus to tackle trade and investment barriers that could hinder a continued growth of the Danish – Vietnamese bilateral trade. The committee will amongst other issues discuss concrete issues raised by Danish companies, Vietnam’s WTO implementation and measures to speed up and simplify the establishment of Danish branch offices and investments in Vietnam.
The Vice Minister and his delegation will take the opportunity to be briefed about environmental issues, in particular sewage and solid waste treatment, as well as the very successful Danish energy savings measures
