The Children ombudsman in Sweden and Sida are arranging a course in
children’s rights from October first to October 19th for Asian
participants. The topics will be HIV/Aids, children in legal processes
and children’s influence and participation in society. The authors of
the book “Implementation Handbook for the Convention on the Rights of
the Child” Peter Newel and Rachel Hodgking will among other people from
Sida give lectures.
The participants are civil servants, politicians or people working with
children’s rights organization from the Philippines, Laos, Vietnam, and
other countries in Aisa.
