King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden sent a personal message on October 24, 2007 to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand, blessing him and wishing for his speedy recovery, Swedish Ambassador to Thailand Lennert Linner said.
The ambassador wrote the message from the Swedish monarchs – who travelled to Thailand to join the celebration of His Majesty’s 60 years on the throne last year – at Siriraj Hospital, where His Majesty is recieving treatment for infection in the large intestine.
