Jotun Wins Award for Promoting Malaysia-Norway Ties

On october 26, well known paint maker and supplier Jotun Malaysia has received the “Malaysia-Norway Innovative Business Award” from the Malaysia-Norway Business Council (MNBC) and the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
    The recognition is due to Jotun’s vast contribution in improving bilateral trade ties, said Norway’s ambassador, Arild Braastad.
    “Jotun is the best example of a company that is innovative in promoting two-way trade, industry and investment. We recognise Jotun’s role in nurturing closer good relations, understanding and economic cooperation between the two countries.” he added.
    This is the first such award by MNBC and this will be an annual affair to encourage Norwegian firms to be more aggressive in doing business in Malaysia.
    Since it was formed in 1984, Jotun Malaysia has been producing decorative, protective coating and marine protective coating paint at its Shah Alam plant.
