Sweden is among twenty two art troupes from 16 countries to registered to perform at the June 3-11 Hue Festival 2008.
Hue Festival 2008 will be held in the former imperial city of Hue under the theme “Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development” to showcase the cultural values of Hue and Vietnam through hundreds of festivity programmes.
Hue festival 2008 will also hold an “enthronement” ceremony for King Quang Trung to mark the 220th anniversary of the event.
Along with Sweden art troupes are from France, the UK, the US, Russia, China, the Republic of Korea, Japan, India, Canada, Australia and Switzerland. They will give music, signing, dance, circus, and installation art performances at the festival.
