“We were streaming live from DR (Danish National Broadcasting) Wednesday morning to show Danes in Singapore the immediate result of the election in Denmark,” says consular attaché Søren Særmark. The election morning was from 6.30 am to 8.00 am. which because of the time difference between Denmark and Singapore would give the early morning birds in Singapore the result at the same time as it came our in Denmark. “Around 40 Danes participated in the election morning, ” Søren Særmark says. Among them were participants from “Nordkaperen” Troels Kløvedals ship, which is right now in Singapore. The Seamen’s Church had delivered home made buns and cinnamon roles, which was a great success.
