Inspired by the essence of design-thinking, the theme for Singapore Design Festival 2007 is ”Always a Better Way”’. The festival will run from 28 November to 8 December 2007 and highlights include a fashion workshop and show by Sweden’s Ikea.
The second Singapore Design Festival will also feature fourteen presentations by partners including those from Australia, Germany, India, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland and Taiwan. The presentations will showcase a wide range of captivating events like Neues Bauen International, Inventioneering Architecture, Italian Genius Now, Swedish Icons and Ozmosis.
The Festival activities will take place around Singapore downtown, fanning out to other areas all over Singapore. With a focus on design development, the Festival offers a broad range of activities including conventions, country presentations, curated exhibitions, workshops, open houses, product placements, award ceremonies and opportunities to meet other leaders in the design arena.
