In celebration of the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Denmark and Thailand, the Royal Danish Embassy is introducing the publication ’Denmark in Thailand 2008. Celebrating 150 years of Thai-Danish diplomatic relations’.
In an official press release from the Danish embassy in Thailand, the publication is said to be a part of ‘the most comprehensive Danish promotional activity in Thailand to date’.
Commercial counsellor to the embassy, Linda Jakobsen, explains:
– We have never had such a publication before. It is a gathering of both political, commercial, royal and public affairs, she says.
The publication also contains an extensive guide to Danish business and will be issued as a joint promotion of all Danish activities in Thailand.
The publication will be ready for release the 1st of April at the latest, and together with a highly anticipated business visit most likely set in May, it will represent an increase in the Danish effort to strengthen ties between Thailand and Denmark.
– We will follow up the publication and the business visit with a creative event in the fall, presenting different aspects of Danish creativity such as music, film, art and comedy, Linda Jakobsen says.
