Indonesia – Norway to hold its 7th Dialogue on Human Rights

An annual bilateral dialogue on human rights will be held in Jakarta 15-16 April 2008. At this 7th Dialogue, the Indonesian and Norwegian delegation will respectively be represented by officials from government, military and police, religious and academic leaders, as well as civil society. Delegates will discuss topisc related to promotion and protection of human rights including economic, social and cultural rights.
The first Dialogue was held in Jakarta in 2002 and since then it has alternately conducted in Oslo and Jakarta.
