Five Vietnamese writers take part in the Gothenburg International Book Fair at Gothenburg, Sweden between 24 September and 3 October. The visit is arranged under a cooperation programme of the Vietnam-Sweden Fund for Cultural Exchange.
The Vietnamese writers are Nguyen Van Luu, Director of Literature Publishing House, Nguyen Huy Thiep and Le Minh Khue from the Vietnam Writers’ Association, Ho Anh Thai from the Foreign Ministry and Phan Thi Vang Anh from Ho Chi Minh City’s Young Publishing House.
All writers’ works have been translated into Swedish under the literature cooperation programme, reports VNA. In addition, the Literature Publishing House has joined the fund’s activities by publishing a novel by well-known Swedish writer F.G. Bengtsson and will publish a collection of Swedish short stories in September.
