Duck, roast pork, sweet potatoes with sauce – and of course ris a’la mande for dessert. Yep, 25 Danes celebrated half way to Christmas with style on Tuesday the 24th of June.
The dinner took place at the Danish restaurant Stable Lodge in Bangkok in Sukhumvit soi 8, which is known for their annual Christmas dinners and Danish food in general.
And what is better than celebrating half way to Christmas and half way into this year with traditional Danish food, beer and schnapps?
Since the Danes are used to freezing weather in December it was a bit unusual sit outside in the garden in 30 degrees and eat the traditional Danish Christmas feast with no tree, presents or Santa Claus. But everybody was in a great mood, enjoyed the dinner and had a great time.
