The Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) to Laos on 20 August signed a memorandum of understanding with Borkeo province’s Committee for Planing and Cooperation to continue phase 3 of the Rural Development Nam Chouam and Heuang Project.
The project, worth over US$ 602,900, will run for 2 years with an aim to boost agriculture, education, and healthcare, creating jobs for the local people, improving their living conditions and reducing poverty.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Mr. Sypheng Sengphompanh, Deputy Head of Borkeo province’s Committee for Planing and Cooperation and Director of NCA, in the presence of Bokeo Governor Boualane Siliphanya.
