Secretary Karin Johansson from the Swedish Ministry of Health and Social Affairs,
accompanied by a business delegation visits
The purpose
of the visit is to explore and promote partner cooperation between Swedish and
Vietnamese companies and institutions in the health sector. Ms. Johansson will
also discuss issues related to the rights of the child.
State Secretary Karin Johansson will meet with the Minister of Health, H.E.
Nguyen Quoc Trieu, the Minister of Justice H.E. Mr Ha Hung Cuong and the Vice
Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, H.E. Mr Nguyen Thanh Hoa. Ms Johansson will visit hospitals and
non-governmental organisations in

People’s Committee, visit hospitals, representatives of the Civil Society and
meet with representatives of Swedish and Vietnamese companies.
Secretary Karin Johansson will give a speech at seminars with the title Making
health care sustainable and affordable in
11 November 2008 and
13 November 2008.
