TRH The Crown Prince Couple visit the Embassy

At 6 am Monday morning the TRH The Crown Prince Couple arrived in Bangkok. Their first official stop was at the Danish Embassy where they met the Ambassador and the staff.
On a beautiful sunny early afternoon the TRH The Crown Prince Couple arrived at the Danish Embassy in Bangkok. They drove in a convoy with HE the Danish Ambassador, Michael Sternberg and stopped outside in the garden of the Royal Danish Embassy.
Here, they made time to meet the Danish press delegation who has arrived this morning as well, especially for this big event in Bangkok.
It was a Royal Couple in great spirit who posed for the cameras.
“Are there any snakes in the grass,” the HRH Crown Prince Frederik asked with a smile, when they walked out on the lawn.
He also said that he didn’t feel jetlagged.
For the Royal Couple it is very exciting to be in the capital of Thailand.
“We are looking forward to put focus on Danish business here in Thailand,” the Crown Prince said.
“So it is exciting,” the HRH Crown Princess Mary added.
The Crown Princess was wearing a beautiful purple tunic and white pants and had let her hair down. After meeting the press The Danish Ambassador lead them into the Embassy where the Royal Couple met the 27 staff who have been working non-stop for the last month to prepare the Royal visit and business seminars.
It is the second time that the Royal Couple visit Thailand together.
“Last time we went to Thailand it was the year after the Tsunami,” the Crown Prince remembered.
In the evening the Royal Couple are going to Central World, where the Official Opening of the celebrations of 150 years of diplomatic relations takes place.
Afterwards there will be a formal dinner hosted by Danish Industries in Thailand. The dinner takes place at Lotus Garden at Centara Grand Hotel. Also joining the dinner is Per Stig Møller, HE Minister for Foreign Affairs and HE Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand along with Business Delegation business partners, organisations and sector ministries. The Danish press will be present as well.
