Finnair to resume scheduled flights to Thailand

The situation in Bangkok is being resolved and the airport will open to traffic in the next few days. Finnair’s scheduled flights from Helsinki to Thailand will resume tomorrow. Flights will continue to operate to Phuket, until they are transferred back to Bangkok Airport.
 
The flights flying tomorrow, 3 December, and the following day, 4 December, from Helsinki to Phuket will carry mainly tour operator customers as well as those whose Bangkok flight has been cancelled during this week or last. Seat bookings for these Phuket scheduled flights will take place Finnair’s telephone sales, number  0600 140 140. Tour operators, such as Aurinkomatkat-Suntours, are in contact with their own customers.
 
Scheduled flight customers flying to Phuket should note that they should arrange possible transfers from Phuket to elsewhere in Thailand independently themselves. Transportation to holiday destinations has been arranged for customers of tour operators.
 
The latest information about flights and the situation is being continuously updated on the Finnair website www.finnairgroup.com/info.
 
Finnair will continue the repatriation flights from Phuket that began on Saturday. By Wednesday nearly 2,000 passengers will have been repatriated. Flights will be transferred back to Bangkok Airport immediately when this is possible.
