Danish theatre sets focus on the Filipino house workers in Denmark with a play, real life Au-Pairs are participating. The theatre Camp X Rialto in Copenhagen is right now busy by setting up “Hush Little Baby”. It is about a Danish couple, which slowly gets completely addicted to the help and the counselling from their maid from the Philippines. The ambition of the play is to sets focus on exploitation of foreign workers and how normal people slowly lose the ability to take care of their own family without help.
To improve the credibility of the play and to bring in the perspective of the Filipino girls, two real life Au Pairs are participating in the performance.
Hush Little Baby premieres on March the 28th.
