Aptilo clinches major hotspot deal

The Swedish wireless network solution provider Aptilo Networks has, through its Malaysian consortium with Mutiara.com, been awarded a 1000 hotspot contract for northern Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur and Penang, according to Computer Sweden.
     Of the total will 300 hotspots be installed this year. A hotspot is a node for wireless internet access, Wi Fi.
     Aptilo’s solution in Malaysia will be operated by TM Net Sdn Bhd. The Swedish company has not disclosed how much the order is worth.
