His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand is in Siriraj Hosptal in Bangkok, according to Manager online. The website shows PM Abhisit Vejjajiva visiting the hospital and signing a visitor’s book.
Eye witnesses reported on Sunday both the presence of quite a number of ordinary police, royal police and army staff at the hospital along with a number concerned Thai citizens.
Reuters reported on Wednesday 16, 2009 that His Majesty had left the hospital after a check up.
Reuters on Sunday carried a follow up, informing that HM The King on Saturday was readmitted for the second medical check-up in 4 days. Reuters also quotes PM Abhisit at the book signing for saying that the King is in no serious condition.
