Swedish security company Securitas said Tuesday it had agreed to acquire 49 percent of Vietnamese security services company Long Hai Security.
“Purchase price is approximately 35 million Swedish kronor (3.4 million euros, 4.9 million dollars), Securitas said in a statement, adding that Long Hai Security has annual sales of 53 million Swedish kronor and approximately 2,500 employees.
“Long Hai Security is consolidated in Securitas AB as of January 1, 2010,” the statement said.
