Qatar Airways to Fly Copenhagen-Doha

Qatar Airways will start a new route flying four flights per week Copenhagen-Doha. The new route will boost Qatar Airways presence on the Scandinavian market when it starts operating by the end of March. Two years ago, the airline opened up a the Stockholm-Doha route.
The new Copenhagen route connects – just like the existing Stockholm route – smoothly with the many daily flights Bangkok-Doha and Singapore-Doha operated by Qatar Airways.
“By adding these destinations to our route network, we are demonstrating our commitment to expand our presence in Europe and introduce new travellers to our award-winning five-star services,” says Akbar Al Baker, General manager of Qatar Airways.
“We remain committed to provide our existing passengers with even more destinations and convenient travel options,” he adds.
Copenhagen Airport’s sales director Carsten Nørland is pleased with the new route.
“The new route to Doha will strengthen Copenhagen Airport’s position as one of the most important airports in northern Europe,” explains Copenhagen Airport’s sales director Carsten Nørland.
“Moreover, Scandinavian travellers will have better access to Qatar Airways’ expanding network and consequently new opportunities to travel to a number of Asian and Australian destinations.”
