Finnish Embassy Relocated Due to Unrest

The Embassy of Finland in Bangkok closes its chancery in the Amarin Tower temporarily and starts its operation in ambassador’s residence in Mooban Panya from next Monday 26 April 2010. The decision is due to the deteriorated security situation in the Ratchaprasong intersection.

On Friday 23 April the Embassy will be closed due to the transfer arrangements. At 12 o’clock the staff informed ScandAsia that they already started working at the new location.

They intend to return to Amarin Tower as soon as the situation in the Ratchaprasong intersection returns back to normal.

Later today they will make a official statement about current situation in Bangkok.
