SIDA provides vehicles to clean water supply projects in Laos

The Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) on December 17 handed over two pick-up trucks worth US$36,000 to clean water supply projects in Khammouane and Sayabouly provinces, Laos.
     The hand-over ceremony was held at the Environmental Sanitation and Water Supply Centre. The pick-up trucks were presented by the representative of SIDA to the Deputy Head of the Personnel Department of the Ministry of Public Health Dr. Onesee Phommalath, in the presence of officials from the two agencies concerned.
     The two vehicles will be used for monitoring the implementation of the clean water supply projects of Khammouane and Sayabouly provinces, particularly the activities of public health publicity and other missions of the projects.
