Airport Chaos Over Forgotten Passports

Many summer holiday travellers flying out of Copenhagen Airport forget their passports at home. Therefore, the Copenhagen Airport Police is exceptionally busy these days, says Deputy Chief Superintendent Kaj Lykke Majlund.

– We are way too busy issuing emergency passports. And in the end, this might mean they (editor’s note: travellers who have forgotten their passports at home) can’t leave on their trip.

A few days ago, the Copenhagen Airport Police issued six temporary passports and extended the validity of another ten passports.
