FINDS, Hong Kong’s iconic Nordic restaurant and bar, vacates its home in Lan Kwai Fong in September 2010 in a series of moves to solidify its reputation as a premiere destination for lifestyle dining.
Rising rent and the changing profile of Lan Kwai Fong have consolidated the decision to relocate. FINDS immediately re-opens with a larger home at The Luxe Manor in Kowloon. To satisfy the public’s insatiable curiosity of Nordic flavours , underlined by the spectacular rise of Noma (Denmark) as ‘The World’s Best Restaurant’ (2010 San Pellegrino Awards), the new outlet will reinvent the FINDS experience with celebrity chef Jaakko Sorsa’s interpretation of relaxed social dining.
FINDS is the darling of interior design magazines, coffee table books and city guides. Its photogenic interiors have been used for innumerable advertisements, TV dramas, music videos and various television specials in Australia, Finland, Germany, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong.
From July to September FINDS will throw a series of parties, including a Scandinavian Summer Splash (31 July, Saturday); an auction for some of the interior elements; a special dinner to commemorate FINDS’ most popular signature dishes and cocktails throughout six years; a VIP sneak preview to introduce the brand-new dining concept; and a celebrity-packed Scandi Graffiti Party (11 September, Saturday) on its final day of trading in Lan Kwai Fong. Operating within The Luxe Manor will leverage the FINDS brand into an esteemed hospitality label with a hallmark for consistent, high quality.
The FINDS Group will also open a bar in Central in the fourth quarter of 2010.
