As several devastating fires around China in recent years have sparked the interest of Chinese decision-makers on how to create a more fire safe environment, new regulations on fire safety makes it a hot topic in China.
In their search for new ways to increase fire safety in the booming Chinese industries and residential areas, more than 70 Chinese stakeholders on August 11 met with market leading Danish companies at the Nordic Lighthouse in Shanghai for the Fire Safety Day.
The event which was organized by the Danish Consulate General in Shanghai in collaboration with Rockwool, Danfoss and Fire Eater, created the grounds for a stronger Chinese-Danish collaboration on fire safety for the years to come.
“I strongly believe that leading Chinese and Danish companies and official Chinese authorities together are able to meet the challenges of fire safety posed by Chinas growth and development,” said Consulate General Susanne Hyldelund in her opening speech.
