As a consequence of the Danish Government’s new strategy for development cooperation, it has been decided to phase out the Business-to-Business (B2B) Environment Programme in China.
The new strategy intends to focus the future Danish development assistance on Africa and to concentrate Denmark’s engagement in fewer developing countries. Consequently, the B2B Environment Programme in China will be phased out in the period 2010-12.
The programme will continue to offer support to existing partnerships under development and those that were granted support by June 2010 including guidance on implementation of the individual partnerships and finalization by 2012.
New potential partnership applications will not be accepted but companies are instead encouraged to contact Commercial Counsellor, Mr. Henrik Martens in the Embassy’s Commercial Department Environment and Energy team for further information and assistance.
