Open Trade Gate Sweden was held recently in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, through Åsa Christiansson and Börje Risinggård, in Kuala Lumpur. In conjunction to that two seminars war organized, one on MATRADE (Malaysian export authority). and the other one on Selangor State Investment Centre (SSiC) the state of Selangor’s invest- and trade organization.
The interest from the Malaysian companies side to listen of the possibilities of exporting goods and services to Sweden and EU was vast. An unofficial record for Open Trade Gate was made in connection to the MATRADE-seminar with almost 200 participants!
Ambassador Per-Arne Hjelmborn held a speech about Sweden’s view on trade at the MATRADE-seminar and hosted a lunch at the residence the 26 October for Malaysian companies and the industry in conjunction to Open Trade Gate.
