Denmark is in cooperation with the Danish Red Cross assisting the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) in providing immediate relief support in the form of 6,300 sanitation kits to people affected by the Mount Merapi volcano eruptions.
The support amounts to approx. 500,000,000 IDR (equivalent to 300,000 DKK) and will provide 6,300 families or around 30,000 individuals with basic relief items to maintain higher sanitary levels in order to prevent the spreading of deceases.
