Bang & Olufsen’s Largest Asian Store in Seoul

The Danish home entertainment system maker Bang & Olufsen opened its largest store in Asia in Seoul on Wednesday.

Located in southern Seoul, the newly opened shop boasts a total floor area of 300 square meters making it larger even than the company’s flagship store for the Asia Pacific in Singapore, the company said.

In a statement Bang & Olufsen chief executive Kalle Hvidt Nielsen said that Seoul was chosen as the site for the company’s store due to the Korean market’s potential for growth.

According to the company, the new store is equipped to offer a “one-stop” service allowing customers to view and test Bang & Olufsen’s full lineup available in Korea, and to receive maintenance services.

The company said that it also offers a home-demonstration service that allows customers to try having its products installed at home before making a purchase.
