Fewer tourists from Scandinavia – except Norway – visited Thailand in 2013, bucking the trend of higher tourist arrivals from the rest of Europe, according to Tourism Authority of Thailand.
The number of visitors from Finland was down 11.90%, Sweden -7.37%, and Denmark -2.14%, while those from Norway registered a 4.30% growth over 2012.
European visitor arrivals in Thailand totalled 6.3 million, up 11.62% over 2012.
