30 Danish Sub Suppliers Attended Seminar

Danish Ambassador to China, Mr. Friis Arne Petersen, welcomed the participants and gave the opening speech:

“The Chinese wind market has kept a fast and stable growth rate. It’s good to see so many Danish wind companies being involved and I hope Danish wind sub suppliers will attract even more Chinese customers in the new year,” he said.

The Ambassador added, that in the next 5 years during the 12th five-year plan China will invest even more in non-fossil energy, not least in the wind sector.

Following the Ambassador, Mr. Wang Siyong, Chief Engineer of Huaneng New Energy, and Mr. Qi Hesheng, Secretary General of Chinese Wind Energy Equipment Association, gave speeches about the Chinese wind market.

Danish Wind Energy Group China (DWEG China) was established in 2009. It is organized by the Danish Export Association and consists of 46 companies. All companies are Danish wind power sub suppliers active on the Chinese market.
