Another popular networking in Bangkok was the Nordic Young Professionals Networking by the Nordic Chamber of Commerce in Thailand. On the night of 21st January, more than 120 young people gathered for the 2nd Nordic Young Professionals Night Out at Le Fenix, Sukhumvit 11. A tapas buffet with free flowing drinks was served while the guests enjoyed talking and laughing together with newcomers and friends. After 10 pm, participants moved up to the Nest Rooftop Lounge in 9th floor where they got drinks at a special price.
Johan Davidsson, Food @ Beverage Manager at Le Fenix, thanked the many guests for joining.
“I hope you have fun with your friends and hope you enjoy the house-wine, vodka and food. Enjoy!”
Katrine Praest , the Executive Director of Dancham added:
“This time we had sent invitation to Nordic Chamber’s members. I have friends and friends of friends who help me spreading the invitation thought the community. Besides I have contacted many colleges in Denmark whose interns are studying in Thailand as well as well-known international Universities here. We want to reach more participants who work or study here.”
“The participants are students, interns, staffs from the Embassy or young business people. Honestly I don’t know all of them but since we are Scandinavian so we easily know each other,” she says.
Among the participants, there was a group of Swedish backpackers who had been in Thailand only for a month. They hoped to come back to Thailand and join the networking again.
