In 2010 EAC, The East Asiatic Company Ltd. A/S, achieved earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation, EBITDA, of DKK 329 million, which was below the DKK 360 million which the company had previously expected.
The result of the continuing operations rose to DKK 214 million from DKK 180 million in 2009 and after a gain of DKK 547 million from divestment of the business Industrial Ingredients the company can report a profit of DKK 761 million.
For 2011 EAC expects revenue of DKK 5.8 billion and an EBITDA margin of around 8 per cent.
