The Swedish Minister for Infrastructure Catharina Elmsäter-Svärd was recently in Beijing.
During her visit the minister participated in a seminar on Road Safety, Mobility and Infrastructure, met with Minister Li Shenglin of the Ministry of Transport; Mr. Peng Kaizhou, Vice Minister of Railways; and the Vice Mayor of Tianjin, Mr. Xiong Jianping.
Together with Minister Li Shenglin the Minister of Infrastructure Catharina Elmsäter-Svärd signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), encouraging further cooperation between Sweden and China in the areas of logistics, transportation and road safety.
On Wednesday the minister left the city to return to Sweden.
