The Norwegian and Swedish Church in Singapore is organizing the annual trip to visit Baan Chivit Mai in Chiangrai. Diana Wiking and Lise-Beate Ringsby from the church and about 19 ladies arrived at Chiangrai International airport and checked in at Wienginn Hotel on Monday 28 February 2011. The group will stay in Chiangrai for another three days.
The main purpose of this trip is to visit and bring goods to the children in the Baan Chivit Mai orphanage also having fun activities with children. The additional program is to travel to enjoy Chiangrai’s attraction, Thailand’s border to Myanmar, Long Neck Village, Golden Triangle, etc.
For the group, the trip is a great opportunity to meet Madeleine and Inge Ekelyck at Baan Chivit Mai. They personally greeted the ladies from Singapore at the airport and took the group to hotel.
