A Dane who has been helping those with autism find jobs in his country, told a Singapore audience, today, there is much potential in such employees which can benefit companies.
Thorkil Sonne was speaking at the 4th Singapore International Foundation Ideas For A Better World Forum.
He advocates providing job opportunities for those with autism and started a successful social entrepreneurship model, working with companies with such employees.
Mr Sonne feels this model can be replicated in Singapore as Denmark and Singapore much in common, he said.
Both are similar in size, place a high emphasis on education and a high-tech economy.
Mr Sonne said he will be looking to partner Singapore companies and community partners to start such a movement here.
