Three men accused of stealing two necklaces from a Danish National, were arrested by Banglamung Police on Thursday Afternoon.
The incident occurred in Soi Nong Get Noi, East of Pattaya and resulted in the theft of two gold necklaces worth a total of 40,000 Baht from Mr. Christian Deletaille aged 49.
The Police were soon on-scene and managed to catch the three men close-by. Khun Atit aged 20, Khun Apiwat aged 20 and Khun Egasit aged 23 were taken to Banglamung Police Station along with the victim, who explained he was forced off his bike as one of the three suspects lent over from his bike and grabbed the necklaces from around his neck.
Two of the men confessed to the theft, however Khun Egasit denied involvement in the alleged theft. The necklaces had been discarded during the ensuing Police chase and have yet to be found.
