Sunday 21 August was the The National Day of Mourning after the terrorist attacked in Oslo and Utøya.
This was highlighted in the worship service at the Norwegian Seamen’s Church. Seaman Priest Jan Olav Johannessen and Counsellor Erik Svedahl held speeches.
It was a memorable service for all those attending and to be in the low season there was good support for the Scandinavians.
Children from Baan Jing Jai were also presented and sang for the victims, and the audience showed their appreciation.
Candles were lit for all the victims while the names were read out and there was the opportunity to sign the condolence protocol.
It was a memorable feast and worship at the Church, which will be remembered for a long time.
