Joint Venture Between SAS and Singapore Airlines

SAS and Singapore Airlines are expected to enter a joint venture with Singapore Airlines. The new joint venture is expected to be signed in the course of a month or two. It will cover flights conducted by Singapore Airlines from several routes in Scandinavia to Singapore and beyond in the Far East, writes the usually well-informed Danish travel portal Take Off.
SAS ‘vice president of Brand Marketing and EuroBonus, Per Moller Jensen, confirms the coming collaboration between SAS and Singapore Airlines. He tells the Danish news agency Ritzau that the joint venture “will offer SAS’s customers a better product and a higher quality of travel.”
SAS customers will be able to travel to Indonesia, Malaysia and Australia without switching carrier and without loss of bonus points and a safety in the luggage follows them all the way.
The news report repeats, that the joint venture with Singapore Airlines is expected to finalized in the course of a month or two.
