Swedish Chamber of Commerce’s most popular events just took place, the Christmas party in Beijing was held on December 3 and the Christmas Cocktail in Shanghai was held on December 9. The demand for tickets was extensive this year and the Parties were fully booked in no time.
In Shanghai, at the cozy Hamilton House, 150 Swedes enjoyed their Christmas cocktail accompanied by choir song, Glögg, wine and beer served with finger food and Swedish ginger bread. To top up the evening, Toby Mac entertained the guests with the best jazz in Shanghai. The Christmas spirit was through the roof; dancing, laughing and singing guests stayed long past normal opening hours.
At the Beijing Christmas Party, more than 235 guests enjoyed the Traditional Christmas buffet, snaps, and the spirit was high when The Beijing Beatles entered the stage. The dance floor was packed with dancing and clapping people, something that it must have been like at a real Beatles Show. After the show our DJ took the lead and served some great Swedish classic beats and the Mackmyra lounge bar opened up serving the thirsty guests Beatles inspired whiskey drinks.
