On the occasion of the State Visit to China by Their Majesties King Harald and Queen Sonja a Norwegian Business Delegation is arranged for 15 – 19 October 2018.
This delegation starts in Beijing with ‘Pioneering Sustainable Solutions’ during 15 – 16 October, beginning with a get-together at EQUIS Four Seasons, Beijing.
On 16 October there will be a seminar at the Shangri-La World Summit Wing, starting off with a plenary session followed by panel discussion: ‘Towards a sustainable, digital future?’.
In the afternoon there will be parallel sessions held on the topics: 1) China-Norway Green Smart City Forum 2) China-Norway Offshore Wind Summit 3) Oil & Gas cooperating between Chinese and Norwegian companies 4) New technologies & innovation – Startups and scaleups 5)
Tourism: Travel Trends and digital marketing in China 6) Norway China Cooperation on Health Technology Solutions 7) Pioneers in Digital Storytelling – Animation and Game Development 8) Labour relations for sustainable growth
The business delegation continues to Shanghai on 17 – 19 October, themed ‘An ocean of opportunities’, starting off with a get-Together at Hyatt on the Bund.
On 18 October follows a Seminar programme held at Shanghai International Cruise Terminal, also there with a plenary session followed by a panel discussion. In the afternoon there will be parallel sessions, held at Hyatt on the Bund, including: 1) Green shipping, digitalization and autonomy 2) China – Norway cooperation on LNG 3) Prosperous Seafood trade between Norway and China 4) New technologies in a new market 5) Plastic waste and marine littering 6) Green solutions for a sustainable Arctic z (this seminar at W Hotel).
The Shanghai delegation visit ends with a sit-down dinner at Shanghai International Cruise Terminal: ‘Seafood from Norway’ organised in cooperation with the Norwegian Seafood Council
