On 7 November the 20th anniversary of sister city relations between Espoo in Finland and Shanghai in China were celebrated at St. Regis hotel in Shanghai.
Opening words were delivered by Finland’s Ambassador to China Jarno Syrjälä, Mayor of Espoo city Jukka Mäkelä and Shanghai FAO Deputy Secretary General Liu Guangyong.
China International Import Expo, an open international cooperation platform, in Shanghai provided an opportunity to celebrate past achievements as well as to plan future cooperation, according to Consulate General of Finland in Shanghai.
The celebration event was hosted by city of Espoo together with city of Shanghai.
