Albatros to host Bagan Temple Marathon in Myanmar

Denmark’s Albatros Adventure Marathons will host Bagan Temple Marathon scheduled to take place on 23 November 2019.

Distances of the marathon come in three competitive categories namely a full marathon, a half marathon and a 10K race.  All distances start at 6:15 am in front of Htilominlo Temple which is also the finish point of the race.

Albatros Adventure Marathons informed eligibility requirements for the runners interested to join the marathon as follows:

-Full marathon runners must be minimum 18 years old on race day

-Half marathon runners must be at least 16 years old

-10K runners must be at least 12 years old on race day

-10K participants under the age of 12 are also welcome if accompanied by a runner aged 16 or above

Owned by Albatros, a Scandinavian travel company located in Copenhagen, Denmark, Albatros Adventure Marathons also organized other four annual races: Petra Desert Marathon in Jordan, Great Wall Marathon in China, Polar Circle Marathon in Greenland, The Big Five Marathon in Africa.

Bagan Temple Marathon this year will provide the runners with photos, finisher’s certificate, medical team and supplies including water stations, energy drinks and bananas along the route.

Signing up packages feature four options: 6-day package (20-25 Nov 2019), 8-day package (18-25 Nov 2019), 8-day package (19-26 Nov 2019) for Danish traveler and the last option is travel partners package offering vary prices and days depending on the agency.
